Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Roon

Product & Formula

What makes Roon Body's deodorant different?

Roon Body is a whipped, non-water, high-performance deodorant balm designed for women who want serious odor protection without the mess of jars, spatulas, or finger application. Our formula uses oil-based actives, lightweight powders, and a precision slotted applicator head for clean, targeted application.

Is this an antiperspirant?

No. Roon Body is not an antiperspirant and does not contain aluminum. We fight odor using baking soda, zinc oxide, zinc ricinoleate, and plant oils—while allowing your body to sweat naturally.

Do you use baking soda? Will it irritate my skin?

Yes. We use a carefully balanced amount of baking soda for powerful odor control. To keep the formula gentle, we pair it with sunflower and apricot oils, shea butter, bisabolol, and zinc oxide. Most women tolerate our formula extremely well, but if you are known to be sensitive to baking soda, we recommend patch-testing first.

What ingredients are in your deodorant?

Sunflower seed oil, arrowroot powder, baking soda, hydrogenated castor oil, apricot kernel oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, shea butter, zinc oxide, zinc ricinoleate, polyglyceryl-2 caprate, silica, glyceryl stearate, diatomaceous earth, bisabolol, and fragrance (for scented versions).

Are your fragrances clean?

Yes. Our scents are made with IFRA-compliant fine fragrance materials and contain no phthalates.

Do you have an unscented version?

Yes. Our Bare Unscented formula uses zero fragrance and is ideal for sensitive skin or pairing with perfume.

Application & Usage

How do I apply it?

Twist the bottom click-wheel until a small amount comes through the slotted applicator head. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry underarms. A pea-sized amount per arm is plenty. Allow 10–20 seconds to absorb.

How long does one 17.5g (0.62 oz) tube last?

Most women get 2–4 weeks of daily use per tube.

Is this a whole-body deodorant?

No. Roon Body is formulated specifically for underarms only.

Can I use it right after shaving?

Yes, although if your skin is very sensitive after shaving, we recommend waiting 30–60 minutes before applying.

Can I use it during workouts?

Absolutely. The formula was designed to hold up through Pilates, hot yoga, running, and high-sweat days.

Packaging & Format

What makes the applicator special?

Our 17.5g (0.62 oz) tube features a precision slotted dispensing head, a clean click-wheel base, and a no-finger-contact application method. This gives you the performance of a whipped balm deodorant with none of the mess that comes with jars or spatulas.

Is the packaging recyclable?

Yes. Our tubes are made from 100% polypropylene (PP), a widely recyclable mono-material.

Can I travel with it?

Yes. The 17.5g (0.62 oz) size is leak-resistant, heat-tolerant, and TSA-friendly.

Performance

How long does the deodorant protect against odor?

Most users experience 12–24 hours of odor protection. Reapply as needed based on activity level and body chemistry.

Will it stop me from sweating?

No. Only aluminum antiperspirants physically block sweat glands. Roon Body neutralizes odor while allowing natural sweating.

Does it stain clothing?

Used correctly, our balm leaves minimal risk of yellowing, white streaks, or oil blotching. Use only a small amount and allow it to absorb fully.

Is there a detox period when switching from antiperspirant?

Some people experience a 3–10 day adjustment period as their sweat glands normalize, but this varies.
